Solution

The jerk is a squat movement and the depth of that movement is about a quarter, also known as a dip.

Description

The jerk is a double dip and the first dip is like a push press which is immediately followed by the second dip to push yourself under the weight. The push press is only one dip.

Squatting deep turns this exercise more into a squat thruster and usually, there is then also no need to double dip as the weight is already overhead.

This is what it looks like.
