Features Explained
What each feature means and how it works on the platform.
Workout Sessions
Pick workout sessions from the library to add them to your collection. Each pick unlocks full videos, exercises, and coaching notes for that session with unlimited replays as a member. Your tier determines how frequently you can pick new sessions, from one every four weeks up to two per week. You can also buy sessions outright for permanent access.
Ebooks
Access in-depth written content covering kettlebell technique, programming theory, training philosophy, and more. Ebooks go deeper than video — they are reference material you can study at your own pace. Your tier determines how often you can add new ebooks to your library.
Courses
Courses are structured learning programs with multiple lessons, video instruction, and built-in progress tracking. Work through material at your own pace, mark lessons complete, and pick up where you left off. Topics range from foundational technique to advanced programming.
Programs
Programs are comprehensive, multi-week training plans designed to achieve specific goals. They include structured workouts, progression schedules, and coaching guidance. Whether you are preparing for a competition or building a foundation, programs give you a clear path from start to finish.
Certifications
Earn recognized IKU certifications across six levels — from L1 Material (self-study) to L6 Coach. Certifications include structured coursework, video assessments, and examinations. Higher levels have completion deadlines and validity periods. Your credential demonstrates verified competence in kettlebell instruction.
Save Custom Workouts
Build your own kettlebell workouts in the Workout Creator — from scratch, from a template, or from an AI workout draft — and save them to My Workouts. Saved custom workouts are private until you make one public, and you can run any of them as a timer. Your plan sets how many custom workouts you can keep. Saving workouts from the library is separate: that is collecting.
Collect Exercises
Organize exercises into personal collections — group them by focus area, skill level, or however you train. Add notes to remind yourself of technique cues or programming ideas. Collections make it easy to find the right exercise when building workouts or reviewing form.
Collect Workouts
Organize workouts into collections for quick access. Create collections like "Favorites," "Weekly Rotation," or "Competition Prep" and add workouts to them with personal notes. A simple way to keep your go-to sessions at your fingertips.
Save Workout Logs
Log every training session with details that matter: your score, weights used, rate of perceived exertion (RPE), how you felt, and free-form notes. Over time, your workout logs become a personal training journal — visible in your TRACK dashboard with trends and insights.
Weekly Workout PDF
Every workout on the site can be downloaded as a personalized PDF — your name and a download reference are stamped on it, same as every other product PDF. A free account gets one PDF download a week; any paying membership tier removes the cap entirely. The weekly PDF and the weekly workout email are the same mechanism — opting in to the email after a download does not spend a second allowance.
Video Watch Time
Pick an item — a workout, course, or certification — to unlock its full video instruction with unlimited replays as a member. Your tier determines how many picks you get and how often. You can also buy items outright for permanent access. Everyone gets a 90-second preview before picking so you can decide.
View Photo Cues
Photo cues break down each exercise into clear, sequential images showing exactly what your body should look like at every stage of the movement. Multiple angles (front, side, overhead) help you self-correct your form. Think of them as a visual checklist you can reference mid-session.
Video Downloads
Download workout videos directly to your mobile device for offline viewing. Available for Gold, Platinum, and Creator members through the mobile app. Train anywhere — no internet connection required once downloaded.
IKU Inner Circle
The IKU Inner Circle is a dedicated tribe for committed practitioners — Silver tier and above. It is a place to connect with serious kettlebell athletes, get priority attention from the IKU team, and access discussions and content not available in the public feed. Think of it as the members-only room.
Cloud Storage
Upload videos of your training for form review, certification assessments, and progress documentation. Your cloud storage is hosted securely and accessible from any device. Storage allocation grows with your tier — from 2 GB on Bronze up to 50 GB for Creators.
Coaching
Coaching on KETTLEBELL MONSTER is delivered through CONNECT. Create a post in the Technique Assessment category, write the question you want help with, or upload a video of your technique. Your post goes into the IKU coaching review queue and a coach responds within 24–48 hours on business days. The response is visible on your post so the whole community can learn from it. Higher tiers include more coaching minutes per month.
Keep a form check between you and the coach
Members on Bronze and up can send a form check as "Only me and the coach": the post is visible only to the member and the coaches reviewing it, and never appears in the CONNECT feed, tribes, comments or search. The member can make it public later. On the free plan every form check is public in CONNECT.
Send your own plans to your clients
Members on Bronze and up who coach can send their own custom workouts, build a program for a client, or set a routine for a client. The plan lands on the client's calendar, and the client can open it, run it and log it. Library workouts can still be prescribed on the free plan.
Invite clients by email
Members on Bronze and up who coach can invite a client by email. If the client does not have an account yet, they get a link to create a free one and are connected to you when they do.
Priority Support
Support tickets submitted by Platinum members are flagged and moved to the top of the IKU support queue. Platinum members typically receive a faster response than standard support.
Coach Desk Reviews
Coach Desk is where you review a lift on video: name the mistake, set the cue, track the fix. A free account can create 1 review a week; paid plans are unlimited. IKU-certified coaches (or an approved external certification) are unlimited on any plan.
Save Timers
Create custom interval timers for EMOM, Tabata, AMRAP, For Time, and other formats. Set work periods, rest periods, rounds, and audio cues, then save them to your library. Run timers during your sessions with visual countdowns and sound alerts. Share timers with others via link.
Recovery Logs
Log physical issues — pain, restrictions, instability, or numbness — by body region and severity. The RECOVER system uses your logs to calculate pattern readiness scores across nine movement patterns (hinge, squat, press, pull, etc.) and adjusts workout recommendations accordingly. Green means go, amber means modify, red means rest.
Mental Check-ins
Check in daily with five quick sliders: stress, focus, motivation, emotion load, and confidence. The MIND system calculates your mental readiness score and adjusts training suggestions — from "ready to push" down to "recovery recommended." Over time, your check-in history reveals patterns about when you train best.
Training Goals
Define specific training goals — master a new exercise, hit a rep target, complete a program, or improve a movement pattern. Goals are tracked per period and visible in your TRACK dashboard. Higher tiers allow more concurrent goals so you can work on multiple aspects of your training simultaneously.
Insights History
TRACK → Insights shows one week at a time: weekly stats, how your workouts felt, your mental state, device trends and patterns. A free account can look back 2 weeks; paid plans look back further, and Gold and up see every week you ever trained. Every workout you log stays in your Logbook on every plan — nothing is ever deleted.
Create Challenges
Build a kettlebell challenge — a scored test, a progression or a day-by-day program — and submit it for review. Approved challenges become public in EXPLORE → Challenges. Your plan sets how many you can submit.
Ask IKU answers
Ask IKU uses the IKU transcript knowledge base and returns source-backed answers with links back to the material. Saved answers can be reopened without spending another allowance.
Type-what-you-ate (AI meal parser)
The Type-what-you-ate parser sends your free-form meal description to Claude (an AI model) and returns estimated macros for each item — no hunting through the food database. The more detail you give (quantity, preparation, specifics like "whole milk" vs "milk"), the more accurate the estimate. Each tier gets a weekly allowance to keep AI costs sustainable. Switch to the unlimited food-database search any time you want to log without spending an AI call.
AI workout drafts
AI workout drafts convert rough workout ideas into editable custom workout structures. Each weekly credit includes the initial generation plus two follow-up refinements for that same workout idea. Additional refinements consume the next weekly credit.
Program Builder programs
Program Builder turns your goals, equipment, and schedule into a personalized multi-week kettlebell program you can save as a draft and launch onto your calendar. Higher tiers can create programs more often.
Save workouts to Health Connect
In the KETTLEBELL MONSTER Android app, tap save after a workout and it goes to Health Connect: the type of workout, its start and end time, its name and notes, and — where we measured them — your effort rating and the timing of its work and rest intervals. We never read anything back from Health Connect. Apple Health on iPhone is coming with the next iOS update.
CONNECT Posts
CONNECT is the platform social network. Post text updates, share workout results, ask technique questions, request form checks, celebrate personal records, and engage with the community. Higher tiers allow more posts per week so you can stay more active in discussions.
CONNECT Images
Attach images to your CONNECT posts — share training photos, form check screenshots, progress comparisons, or technique breakdowns. Visual content makes your posts more useful for getting feedback and more engaging for the community.
CONNECT Videos
Share training videos directly in CONNECT. Record a set, post it for community feedback, or share a technique you have been working on. Video posts are the best way to get meaningful form feedback from coaches and fellow practitioners.
Events
Host group training events — live video classes, workshops, throwdowns, coaching sessions, or in-person meetups. Set the date, time, and participant limit. Attendees can RSVP, join live rooms, and raise their hand to interact. Events can be public, private, or tribe-only.
Tribe Creation
Tribes are communities you create and lead. Each tribe has a hierarchy (Chief, Elders, Proven, Initiates), customizable paths for member progression, and governance tools. Whether you run a local kettlebell club or an online training group, tribes give you the structure to build and manage your community.
Tribe Members
Each tribe you create has a member capacity based on your tier. Free accounts can host up to 100 members per tribe. Paid tiers increase this limit — up to unlimited for Platinum and Creator members. Larger tribes mean bigger communities under your leadership.
Sell Products
The Creator tier unlocks the ability to list and sell your own digital products — courses, ebooks, and training programs — directly on the KETTLEBELL MONSTER platform. You set the price, we handle delivery and payment processing.
Paid Tribes
Monetize your community by charging for tribe membership. Gate exclusive content, discussions, and events behind a subscription. You set the price and manage access — we handle billing. Available exclusively to Creator tier members.
Creator Badge
The Creator badge appears on your profile, posts, and content — signaling to the community that you are a verified content creator on the platform. It builds trust and credibility with potential students and tribe members.
Creator Dashboard
A dedicated dashboard with analytics on your content performance, student progress, earnings tracking, and tools to manage your courses, programs, and tribe content. The command center for your creator business on KETTLEBELL MONSTER.
Exercise Encyclopedia Videos
The Exercise Encyclopedia contains detailed video tutorials for kettlebell exercises. Each tier grants a monthly allowance of full video views. Preview clips are always available. You can also use XP to unlock individual videos beyond your monthly allowance.
Reload — Recovery Status
Reload tracks which muscles you trained recently and estimates how recovered each one is — ready, light work only, or still reloading. Based on your actual logged sessions, exercise intensity, and self-reported soreness. Share your recovery status with a coach for guided programming.
Secure Checkout
Payments handled securely by Stripe and PayPal. We never see your card.
Always Growing
