It combines structured workouts, biomechanics-based exercise breakdowns, progress tracking, education drawn from published books and courses that have included ACE, NASM, and AFAA-approved continuing education, and a kettlebell-specific social feed — all in one platform built for athletes, coaches, and the global kettlebell community.
Created by Taco Fleur, founder of Cavemantraining™ and one of the most recognized kettlebell educators in the world. KETTLEBELL MONSTER was initially released on January 2, 2023. It relaunched in 2026 as a faster, stronger platform built for the scale we expect. Public Android-directory evidence places the Google Play app in May 2025, and the content, methodology, books, workouts, and teaching history go back to Cavemantraining online education in 2009.IKU LLC is the company behind IKU, Cavemantraining and KETTLEBELL MONSTER.

Founder bio — Taco Fleur
Taco Fleur is a programmer turned kettlebell educator, originally from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. After a career writing code for banks, governments, and corporations, years of desk-induced physical deterioration led him to kettlebell training — which became both a personal transformation and a lifelong mission.
In 2004, he co-founded Executive Results and THE TOUGH SPOT gyms in Australia with his wife Anna Junghans. In 2009, he launched Cavemantraining™ and transitioned to online education. Over the next 15+ years, he authored 40+ kettlebell books, created 250+workouts, and taught 26,000+ students across multiple platforms.
He has obtained certifications including SFG2 (StrongFirst), IKFF, Russian Girevoy Sport Institute Kettlebell Coach, IKSFA Kettlebell Sport Coach, Kettlebell Sport Rank 1, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and BJJ Purple Belt. He has been featured in four issues of Iron Man magazine.
Today, IKU, International Kettlebell University, continues the kettlebell education and certification Cavemantraining has offered online since 2009. He built KETTLEBELL MONSTER™, first released on January 2, 2023, as the first social network dedicated exclusively to kettlebell training. He currently lives in Kalamata, Greece, with his family.
