DOUBLE KETTLEBELL ARNOLD PRESS Tempo: Controlled press → slow eccentric on the way down. Start from a strong double-rack position and rotate smoothly through the press, allowing the elbows to move naturally into the scapular plane. Keep the wrist neutral and stacked in line with the forearm throughout the movement. Avoid ulnar deviation even if minimal — the wrist shouldn’t collapse toward the little-finger side under load. Armwrestle a bit if needed. There’s a slight knee dip visible on a few reps. It’s minimal and not intended as a Push Press, but a clean Arnold Press should ideally be performed without leg drive. KEY TECHNIQUE POINTS • Strong double-rack position • Neutral wrist aligned with the forearm • No excessive ulnar deviation • Smooth shoulder rotation • Natural elbow path — no “chicken wings” • Stable torso and controlled ribs • Strong overhead lockout • Controlled press + slow eccentric P.S I briefly opened my hands to demonstrate how the kettlebells sit naturally and securely in the hand without using a tight “death grip.”
