TRY THIS COMPLEX — THE MAN MAKER
One complex. Full body. 20 minutes of AMRAP. I went with 2x24KG
One round:
Push-Up ×4 ➡️ Renegade Row ×4 ➡️ Double Clean ×4 ➡️ Racked Squat ×4 ➡️ Double Press ×4
20-MIN AMRAP — complete as many quality rounds as possible.
Choose a challenging weight, but one that allows you to maintain clean technique throughout the entire complex. A good guideline is to use a weight you could normally Squat or Press for around 10 solid reps when performed on its own.
Don’t just chase rounds. Keep the movement clean, control your pace, and stay consistent for the full 20 minutes.
The entire complex = 1 round.
Give the MAN MAKER a try and let me know how you like it — and how many rounds you managed in 20 minutes.
⚠️ TECHNIQUE NOTES
Keep every transition smooth and fluid. Don’t death-grip the kettlebells — keep the hands relaxed enough to allow the handles to move naturally and reposition smoothly during transitions.
During the Racked Squat, avoid “chicken wings.” Keep the elbows close and aligned with the torso rather than flaring them out. This creates a stronger, more compact rack position, improves stability and keeps the load better connected to the body.
The wrist should follow the natural line of the forearm. Keep a neutral wrist and avoid excessive ulnar deviation — don’t let the hand collapse toward the little-finger side.
Smooth transitions. Compact rack. Elbows in. Neutral wrists.
Nice! Video did not show the press?
Yes, the Overhead Press is part of this Man Maker variation. It comes right after the Racked Squat — 4 Double Overhead Presses to complete the round. I just didn’t show that part in the clip. I’ll do ...
