Prep Work

This is the time invested before the workout and after the warm-up to test all exercises, making sure that you are picking the right weight and the right progressions or alternatives. It’s also part of the warm-up as you start with light weight and increase to the weight you are thinking of using in the workout. The reps remain low and the focus is on pausing at each phase of the exercise to ingrain the form.
