What is Force?

Force is what moves an object, in our case that object is the kettlebell. To move or accelerate it, we need to pull, push, or drop it. The first two require force.

Newton’s second law of motion: The change of motion of an object is proportional to the force impressed; and is made in the direction of the straight line in which the force is impressed.

The greater the mass of the object, the greater the force needed to move that object.

The formula is:

F = m x a.
Force = mass multiplied by acceleration.

The units for each is N(ewton) for force, kilogram (kg) for mass, and m/s2 (meters per second squared) for acceleration.
