Not gripping the handle of the kettlebell in the middle or as close as possible.
Solution
Grip in the middle or at least not excessively to one side. A grip in the middle results in better weight distribution.
Description
For explosive or powerful pulls the grip should be as close to the middle of the handle as possible. For example with a dead clean, dead snatch, or any clean, swing, or snatch variation that is about maximum power. It can be different for exercises that are more about endurance and executed much slower.
The following video(s) cover this common mistake.
