I went lower during the pass. It seemed to help preventing the issue of caved-in knee having to compensate for the lack of depth in the other exercise. Thank you for your time and attention, Coach! Have a great week!
The knee caves in during a pass around the leg or the body.
Solution
Make the circle of the pass bigger so that the knee doesn’t need to make space for the weight.
Description
The circular movement that the weight is supposed to make either around the leg or body is not wide enough so the knee caves in automatically to prevent the weight from hitting it.
When the ankle, knee, and hip joints don’t align then there is pressure on the knee which is a hinge joint that can only slightly rotate but is not something that should be relied upon or used.
This is what it looks like when the knee caves in. This screenshot was taken during a pass-through switch clean.
