Windmill Stance

Common Mistake

The leg positioned under the side with the Kettlebell is not positioned correctly. The foot points laterally rather than medially.

Solution

Position the foot medially about 45 degrees or at least straight.

Description

The Windmill stance is one leg straight and under the weight. The other leg should be diagonal and push in to shift the hip above the straight leg.

When the foot is pointing laterally, and you pish in, you are pushing against the ITB and knee joint. With the foot turned and positioned correctly, you are pushing into your hamstrings.
