Exercise: Kettlebell Pendulum Half Snatch
Description:
Hi Taco,
I know there still will be alot of corrections on these moves as its hard to re-learn a habit in a short time,
But here are the things that are common in all my moves :
-
My squat for dead clean is still too shallow or more of a hinge – knees and ankles are STILL not bent enough as my weights are too light
As my weights are light, I am not pulling fast enough for ballistic – will try to refilm with a heavier weight.
I also lean forward on the dead clean and not craddling the Bell on the rack – because my weights are too light.
My double clean did not have the elbows facing back and scooping up – need to work on that and rack with the horns of the bell.
My back swing in getting back to the starting position also is probably not swinging back enough or squatting low enough for safe dismount – as my bells are too light.
Will try to put all those in mind when I move forward with my practice ….

Hello Jacquelynne, did you intend to do a pendulum half snatch as you marked it as such but this is not it. To name it correctly, this is either a half snatch (i.e. you don’t specify the exact variation) or a hip hinge half snatch. But if you want to do the pendulum, then I will assign a mistake.
